Overview
Nowadays, real estate websites or apps are widely used for home buyers, sellers, renters and realtors. As my husband and I decided to move to a new house, we chose Zillow to browse and contact an agent. While we were using their service, we had come a cross a few pain points while navigating through the app. Therefore, I wanted to research what other pain points exist and how they can be remedied. In order to find adequate solutions and test ideas faster, I conducted a 5-day sprint method. I redesigned their Home page menu, filter, and how the property detail page shows based on the research.
About Zillow
Zillow is a real estate and rental marketplace for buyers, sellers, renters, real estate agents, mortgage professionals, property managers, and landlords. The real estate search engine helps to find and share information about homes, mortgages, real estate, and home improvement. The platform has a massive database of 100+ million U.S. properties, which includes homes for rent/sale and even foreclosure properties.
